France Lotto membership is free. One signup opens the full predictions and analytics suite: a curated pick before every draw, frequency heat maps, hot-and-cold tracking across three time windows, and a track record we audit against the real result.
Before every France Lotto draw we publish a top-five pick alongside the Chance number. Members see it the moment it goes up.
Inside that pick are two extra layers: a most-confident subset of three balls we weight highest, and a wider net of ten candidates considered before settling. It’s built from every France Lotto draw on file going back to 1976.
Every pick comes with its fingerprint — the total of the five balls, the odd/even split, and the high/low balance — measured against thousands of past France Lotto draws.
You see at a glance whether a pick sits inside the typical band or out on the tail, instead of taking the numbers on faith.
Got a set you always play? Paste any five numbers from 1 to 49 and the same analysis runs on them — the total, the balance, and where they land across the archive.
Create a free account and you can save your picks, then we grade them against the next draw right alongside ours.
Every number from 1 to 49 shaded by how often it has landed in your chosen window. The whole board at a glance — hot, cold, and everything between.
It’s a record of what the draw has done, not a forecast of what it will do. We’re clear about that — a number absent for fifty draws is no more “due” than one that hit last night.
The numbers behind the heat map, laid out as tables: most-drawn, least-drawn, longest-overdue, and the pairs that land together most often.
Switch between a 30-draw window, the last year, and the full archive to see how the picture shifts with the sample.
We log every pick and score it against the real result: picks tracked, average hits, best score, and how often the Chance number landed.
And the honest part — our live hit rate next to pure chance, shown even when we’re behind it. No cherry-picking, no hiding the misses.
France Lotto doesn’t sell tickets to South African players directly, so most members play it as fixed-odds bets at YesPlay, our recommended sportsbook.
The EV table lays out YesPlay’s actual payout for each bet type and the break-even hit rate — so you size a stake against the maths and the market, not a hunch.

France Lotto draws are independent random events. Predictions are analytics, not financial advice, play within your limits.
Our predictions come from an in-house frequency tool built from the full draw history. It reads FDJ’s Lotto archive going back to the first draw in 1976. That is 2,764 settled draws on file. Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday morning it ingests the latest result and rebuilds three views of the data.
The first is a rolling frequency map of the last 50 draws. Which main numbers (out of 1 to 49) are showing up more often than chance, which are absent. 50 draws is short enough to react to recent runs and long enough to filter daily noise.
The second is a pair-occurrence matrix across the full archive. Which number pairs have landed in the same draw most often. The lottery does not care about these pairs, but the long-run frequency table is real data worth showing.
The third is an overdue list. Main numbers that have not appeared in the longest stretch. The caveat matches hot numbers: a ball absent for 100 draws has exactly the same probability of coming next as one that hit yesterday.
From those three views the tool picks one curated set of 5 main numbers and 1 Chance for the next draw. The selection leans toward numbers showing well across more than one view, with a small spot held for an overdue ball.
What the tool does not do is gambler’s-fallacy math. There is no “due number” arithmetic. No martingale logic. The probability per ball stays fixed and we do not pretend otherwise. We dismantle the math on hot and cold numbers and lucky-number and system claims in our blog. What we publish is one analytic guess based on patterns the published data has actually shown. Whether to bet on it is your call.
YesPlay’s France Lotto 5/49 fixed-odds payouts, with the theoretical random win-rate and how often our published picks have matched, across the full historical archive. EV is shown per R10 stake.
